Hi!

Im getting this message 'Program verify failed at Program address 0x001' everytime I try to program my PIC16F876A. Im using a P16PR0 programmer with 74LS06 logic powered by two 9V batteries.

I've tried some troubleshooting by clickin the hardware settings. When I set the VPP ON D1 lights up and when VPP40 is set ON D3 lights up. The Vdd ON/OFF settings wont do anything.. how can I check that the Vdd is also functioning?

Im using the WinPicprog 1.95e

I could use some help here.. thanks!

Oh.. it seemed that the PIC was poorly inserted to the programmer
