Hello Nigel,
Ive tried earlier abt one year ago to build a programmer.. but failed..nw im again trying for the same..this time i wired up everything in a bread board checked the voltage levels..(Im using p16pro40 circuit found on your page) only ACK pin (data in) gives abt 4.9 V & all other abt 1.2V.So ithink im rit here isnt??
now i connected the stuff to the Parll port..installed the port95nt..n started up the Winpicprog
q1. Wat should be the hardware settings that i should use??
q2.the port address i gave is 378 i think its true..but on main screen it displays as either as None or as 000H
wat should i do??
the red LEDs blink accordingly as i toggle the switches in the hardware settings..so i believe hardware is alrit..
Im trying to program a 16F877A I/P
Any help will be gratefully revceived.... |

| WinPicProg 'should' auto-detect the programmer as it powers up, the programmer needs to be powered for this to work - if it doesn't work, check your system settings to find the correct port address and set it manually. |
