|
|
Hi everybody!
Can anyone tell me what are the correct hardware settings for programming PIC16F84A?
I have tried to find them but all I found were that for PIC16F877 and they do not work properly!
Thanks in advance! |

| You don't select hardware settings for different PIC's, you simply select the PIC from a drop down list. The hardware settings are dependent on your programmer hardware, nothing else. |

So does that mean that I can use the default settings? I have selected the PIC16F84 from the drop down list and the default settings are:
Vdd - D2 OFF
Vpp - D3 OFF
Vpp40 - D4 OFF
Output - D0 Invert LOW
Clock - D1 Invert LOW
Input - ACK Invert LOW
Is this ok? |

| No idea, you've never mentioned what programmer you have?, the PIC selected has no bearing on it. |
