hi,

newbee here, an electronic hobbyist, new in microcontroller programming, i have some question to ask about the values of chips, like, "PIC16F876A-I/SP" now, what is A stands for ?, and the other followed letters?

The 'A' simply means it's a later silicon revision, in this case to the extent that it's actually slightly different to the non-A version - the datasheet explains the changes.

The other letters are the temperature range and encapsulation type, it's described in the datasheet under 'Product ID System'
